Contribution of ICT to Education



Information and Communication technology today plays an essential role for every education. ICT is used for students to gain the skills needed for future higher education or the digital world. Especially student need critical thinking and analytical skills in their future. ICT is very helpful in developing those skills of the students. That is, by improving students ‘thinking through self-development or education. The main purpose of using ICT in education is to develop a student learning environment and self-learning process.

ICT brings many benefits in the educational process. Mainly student have independent access to their education. This advantage is a very important for the students that they can do their education as they wish. ICT also helps students to experience new learning processes and to delve deeper knowledge. And so on ICT enables students to pursue their education through a variety of options to better understand their education. That is, all the subject matter that is framed in the book can be educated through devices such as videos, presentation, and graphic images games etc. ICT allows students as well as teachers in education to carry out a variety of learning processes. It can also further enhance E-learning, learning management system (LMS) etc. Currently, the use of ICT in education is on the rise. By educating the new generation to get education through this technology, we can move forward with the development and new aspects of education.
